Brenda's Super Sneak Peeks

Brenda's Rock the Frock Super Sneak Peeks

I blogged yesterday about the plans for Brenda's Playing with Fire Rock the Frock Session. We were lucky that the weather held out for us, since there was a 59% chance of rain! (Yes, I stalked the weather forecast closely enough to know the exact percentage.) Our session started out at Grantham Fire Department, where Chief Richard Proctor had gotten the fire engine ready for us, since Brenda's husband had a family matter to attend to unexpectedly. We wrapped her session up at her sister Lisa's house, in an old barn filled with candles to complete the Playing with Fire theme.

Brenda had quite the audience, since the fire department is on the main road through the community and is across the street from a school where weekend sports are played. She was the envy of many little girls who sat outside to watch her Rock her Frock with the fire engine!

Her sweet hubby Wes, was able to join us, complete with turnout gear (and even a smile!!) for some photos. I may have ended up standing in a boat--inside--to get this shot, but I always love the dramatic lighting that I get when I shoot at the fire department.

We had about 75 candles burning in that old wooden barn!

Huge thanks to Brenda's sister Lisa who cleaned out the barn for us to use and helped create the wall of candles. Also, many thanks to Goldsboro Rent It Party Center for the use of the globed candelabras that completed the look!

With so many candles burning, we got cool fiery effects!
